Just a little reminder
It seems to be a thing where someone who comes in to the Newcomers forum is often sent off to another forum for more specialised help.
It happens with Friends and Family members, or Adult Children of Alcoholics and occasionally with addicts who are not drinkers.
I have seen people being told pretty much nothing more than to go post in other forum.
I
know people are trying to help - that's not an issue - but I think we could be more welcoming with it?
Newcomers forum is for everyone, and everyone is welcome here, regardless of what brings them here.
Tell people about the other forums if you think it will help, sure - but spent a little time greeting people and making them feel welcome here first maybe as well?
