Have a fun and safe trip. This reminds of something that I heard on the radio this morning regarding an alcohol checkpoint that the police will be setting up on one of our major streets this evening. In the past, I would have made a serious mental note of this and not gone anywhere close to that part of town. It's liberating to be able to get in the car and drive anywhere without the fear of getting stopped with that open can of beer in the console. Or having to map out those back roads when driving home from the bar. Thanks for the post MBob. I can't wait until I can say that I've been sober for a few years.
