I believe sobriety birthdays are more important for others than they are for me. They prove sobriety is possible in good times and bad. This morning I am a wreck my heart is breaking. My body actually hurts with grief but I'm not going to drink today because I absolutely love being sober.
Is it easy? Does it take commitment? It sure does and it sure isn't. The question is, is it worth it? The answer is ABSOLUELY! Even with the grief I'm happier than I've ever been
