I am grateful for being granted another day of sobriety and of my new life.
I am grateful that my mother is still feeling good despite chemo and that I am sober and able to be there for her like a daughter should. If this had been this time last year- I wouldn't be talking to her, I wouldn't be there for her, and I would have been something that was still breaking her heart when she needs to be strong to get through her cancer treatment. It breaks my heat and every day I thank God that I have found recovery and am mentally and physically healthy and strong so I can be the daughter she deserves.
