Could only go for two days maximum, even though I'd promised my wife a week.

I, too, was worried about walking into an AA meeting.
Why?
Because I knew that this was it -- the end of the line.
It was time to say goodbye to my love/hate relationship with booze.
We are close in age: I'm 59.
And I'm 11 years sober thanks to AA.
It is well worth it.
