It is strange how when I am depressed, I don't even think about alcohol (beer in my case) or eating. However, when I have a really busy, productive, happy day, I sometimes want a beer or two (which will end up being 5 or 6).
I just struggle through the urge. This evening I just fell asleep for 2 hours. I am still tired; so, I might just go to bed for the night.
Tomorrow will be better!

Just be kind to your body for now. Your body has been used to the sugar in your alcohol. This is usually pretty normal early on. Sleep and heal.
