A little patience...a big payoff

Neither of my hydrangeas bloomed last year. And a couple of weeks ago they looked like they were on their last legs. My friend thought I should replace them with some other plants that might like that location better. I decided to give them time. Last week they decided to get in the game and shot out lovely greenery and then these wonderful blooms came out this week. The first one is a my favorite blue. And the second one now has what looks like quadruple blooms (they were small and seemed to be single when I purchased them 5 years ago). I have never seen blooms this big on a hydrangea. They are at least a foot wide. It was a really cool surprise...a nice gift from the universe which made me smile. A little patience and a bit of faith really paid off.
(I'm not able to attach a second photo. Will do it in a second post.)
