Hey all,

Got my blood results back. Liver, kidneys, cholesterol, thyroid, all perfect.

However, my iron and hemoglobin are so low she was debating whether to hospitalize me for a transfusion.

She put me on 3 iron pills a day for a month and we will check it again. We think it's due to poor nutrient absorption from the Crohn's. Anemia is common with Crohn's. But not as bad as I have it without something really bad happening.

But what a relief to have a diagnosis. I thought I just had no zoom bc I was depressed. It's amazing what the body can endure.

I feel so much better just knowing what's wrong, to start. My white blood cells are also high but she doesn't know what the infection is yet. Could be Crohn's as well since it makes my body attack itself.

Whew. Ok one mystery down, several to go, but at least there are things to try so I can feel better. And not a crappy new normal I need to figure out how to live with.

Go me. Adulting gold ribbon.
Thanks for listening, xoxo
