Well if you start to feel really dodgy, I would get help.
The times I have had to take myself off to A&E, they couldn't do anything while I still had a certain level of alcohol in my system. What I mean is, if I felt especially ill and "had a couple" so I was able to get myself to hospital, they couldn't give me the de-tox medication, they won't if there is any alcohol in your system (not in the UK anyway)
But when I didn't, and I was going through full blown withdrawals, they did, and it worked a LOT better than drinking more.
And gives you a way out of the vicious cycle.
In my case, each time I started to drink after this happened..wasn't to stave off withdrawals (but thats why I perpetuated it) it was because I was demented and "forgot" about the anguish getting back off it causes.
If you don't start drinking again..even in 3 days, you won't believe you were feeling as bad as you are now
