Yes, I do need a plan. When I was sober for a couple of years, I was also "recovering."...meaning, I was working an active program (AA) as opposed to just not drinking. This time around for me, I think I finally get that this is not a "drinking" thing, but a thinking (spiritual) thing for me. If I could intellectualize not drinking, I wouldn't drink.
So, this time around, I know I need a structured plan that includes dealing with the underlying reasons I drink. At my age, I may not make it back again...I look forward to reading more on here and contributing. Day 2 and sitting at an airport....with a coffee!
