I just emailed my addictions counselor as well as another place here that offers addiction support to women. They hold these monthly dinner and workshop series that address different topics - the one this month is on the 16th and it's on self-compassion, then next month's is exploring guilt....I feel like both of those I could use to attend. I am also going back to meditating and journalling....and yoga too....all things I stopped doing to pick up a drink
I have decided that I will not be going to therapy anymore for right now. I need some time to focus all my attention on my sobriety first.....sadly the other stuff isn't going anywhere but I want to be as healthy as possible when I address it.
