I've not been having a very good few days. My middle kid is still poorly and it's making for a very cranky-pants momma.
Had a good old cry last night which helped a bit. It doesn't solve anything but neither did drinking. It was very late that I found the good thing yesterday but it was there.
I also realised that I never cried like that when I was drinking. That tells me all I need to know.
I'm grateful to be here, sober, for another day. I don't think today is going to be any more fun than the last few have been but at least I can face it without a hangover and for that I am grateful.
24 more hours of perseverance, determination and patience please.
