I think you should go....but not let him know you are going (that may give him the "oh, I can do what I wabt bc she won't be able to come over shtick"). And I think you badly need to get some help from your attorney regarding his drinking around your kids....it's just not ok, friend. It's so sad that you are dealing with this. I understand.
