I went through some major employment changes since I've been sober and I know exactly what you are talking about. I knew how to be a drunk in the working world but I had no idea how to do it sober.
I found I was a much better employee. Harder working, not afraid to stay late, less spaced out, able to make better decisions.
I decided I was just going to do the best that i could do and let God take care of the rest
