We lost lastnight;(
There are only six regulation innings in little league Major's. At the end of regulation (bottom of the sixth) the score was 0 to 0. We went into extra innings, wow you talk about tense!!
Top of the seventh inning, the other team scored by hitting a home run, so it was 1 to 0 and we had last ups. My son was at bat first, he got a single, stole second. The guy after him got hit with the ball, and went to first, then we got our first out, then our second out, we were back at the top of the line up, one of our best hitters, meanwhile the catcher missed the pitch and my son stole third, but the ump said he left early so sent him back to second, so our best hitter gets up there and hits the ball right to the pitcher.
so we lost 1 to 0 at the bottom of the seventh. What a great game!!
We are elliminated from the tournament, but on a good note, I am going on vacation saturday, and I didnt know what I was going to do, go a couple of days late if they kept winning, or leave him home with another baseball mom and pick him up. All is solved
