From what I've seen in the kids generation, camping is just a way to get out of the house and get Into trouble, to be honest. Boyscouting is not what it was when I was a rough and tumble kid, and I don't think my "old ways" would be acceptable. Too much survivorman type stuff, for the politically correct parents club.
