Yeah, Glee, that's where I'm at right now: Letting go is the only real solution, and it's just a matter of enforcing it upon myself. Following a rational course and getting more space in the relationship is the only way I can see to get my emotions about this more balanced, so that is the course I will pursue. Letting go, addressing my own issues, and pushing any concerns about "us" to the background noise until I have the requisite objectivity to deal with them in a manner consistent with my own best interests.
