Im back and here to stay!!
Hi Everyone,
Well I'm back and here to stay!! I am 44 yrs old today and 44 days sober. The longest I have been in years, and the longest I haven't had a want or pull to pick up. When i think back...its been 7yrs that I started this journey to stop, and I finally did it. I stopped. I had to let go of everything to come here. I didnt lose everything. But i surrendered everything ...even my three bedroom home...my car...my job...the city i loved to come home and stay sober. I love it. Ya, i have moments with my parents...but I would rather say sorry then run to wine to numb the pain. I am grateful for God for today.
