I take it you havnt watched lost before, a lot of ppl either love it or hate it sometimes both but I really dig lost I loved it, I loved it even more when they introduced Desmond who's from Scotland
I don't like the alien franchise films but I liked Prometheus (Daniel lindelof co-wrote it.. he was the writer on lost with others inc JJ Abrams of the new Star trek & Star war films) and a lot of people don't like Prometheus I don't think I've met one person who said it was alright lol
