Eight years sober this month!
Hello everyone,
I have made it to eight years of sobriety this month! This one feels different, not sure why. I am beyond grateful for all the help these forums have provided. I have precious little time to spend online, and I dearly miss being able to learn and share with all the wonderful members here.
To anyone struggling, whether sober or still drinking, I hope you find the support and help you need to find peace. I am sober because I finally made a choice to be. I was lucky to have help, love, and support from family, AA, and from this gift of God, SoberRecovery!
Sobriety is awesome, but you must work for it and work to maintain it.
Again, thank you all. If anyone needs a friend, I am ready to help.
