Hi everyone,
I had a nice evening over dinner with friends. It's a holiday here, Family Day, and my friend says I'm like her family so that is lovely. She and her fiancé are going to Florida tomorrow for 10 days and I'm looking after their two cats. One is very infirm. She's 21 and can hardly stand, she's really skinny. She is eating and drinking though, but can't seem to see or find her litter box, so she pees everywhere. She's in a basement furnace room all alone all day. I feel so sad for her. She doesn't seem to have much quality of life. I really hope she's not in pain. My friends fiancé doesn't want to put her to sleep, nor even bring her to the vet to be assessed. I don't think that's right, but it's not my place to say, I guess.
