Thanks Melina! He is doing much better than last semester. They put in place some interventions when I first expressed concerns, but not an IEP. I have a feeling the test was too soon after the interventions to have them make a difference. Will see what the teacher says today, as I think he will have a chance to retake it. If nothing else, he may be moving districts next year (as Mr. Fireman is not in this school district), so if he is held back he will not be seeing all his friends in the 4th grade and him still in 3rd.
