I have been sober now approx 10 days. I have been here before and every time I find some tribial excuse to drink. I am under no illusion that I can drink like other people , today , however , I often believe that my period of sobriety enables me to do so. Hopefully , I can stay on the wagon this time. yeah - I had to learn that abstinence does not equal control.
There's no amount of time that will reset me or turn me into a normal drinker.
I drink alcoholically and I always will.
If you can accept that, you're well on your way to permanent sobriety
