Sao, I see that you've avoided a tube strike this friday. I was surfing online and saw that it was cancelled. I did stumble across some really interesting photos of stuff that can be found underground in London. Roman baths, the remains of an amphitheater, the Fleet Museum under St. Bride's church. Cool things. I should google Chicago and see what fascinating things I'm missing in my own backyard.

I supported the strikes for pay and conditions 18 months ago but the last few have been about resisting running the tubes at night. I'm to old for that to benefit me much but it is way past the time to start running them at night - it should have happened decades ago
