Day 1 again - AV wormed in when my brand new washing machine broke (my son put his school trousers into the washing machine without emptying the pockets). As I mopped the floor it started whispering away about how I deserved a drink and it was my son's fault. Of course it wasn't his fault (the drinking, not the washing machine breaking!)

In 9 hours time I will be sitting nervously in the car outside a building in a nearby town watching AA members go in and plucking up the courage to do it myself. This is a closed meeting so can't take anyone with me for moral support.
