Good thoughts/vibes this morning appreciated
I have a deposition this morning (mine, that is) on my lawsuit concerning my home's foundation.
I've been a lawyer for over 30 years, and this is the first time in my life I've ever had to sue anyone. I HATE it. I hate the entire process. But in this situation the damage is so costly I have no choice.
This shouldn't be terribly painful--I'm not an engineer and all I can testify to is what I know. Still--I've testified at depositions before, and testified in court, and it has given me great empathy for those I've had to call as witnesses. It AIN'T fun.
I'm not freaking out or anything, but any good thoughts or positive energy sent my way would be appreciated.
