Grateful for an awesome night with DS6. After homework and dinner we played a board game and had a blast. Got the bedtime routine going a little earlier and had some extra reading time too. Had tons of fun laughing our way through Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Grateful to DS14 for lending me his "selfie stick" so I was able to take a Kardashian Kaliber (OK, maybe not quite) selfie as my new dating profile pic. One of my dates commented that I was much prettier in person because I was smiling. So out with the Grim Reaper, let's get this over with, first attempt at a selfie pic and in with my killer smile and new hairstyle. Once I got over feeling totally ridiculous, it was actually kind of fun.
Grateful that I now have the ability to get over myself and have fun in life.
Grateful for my awesome Spring Anniversary co-chair. She's just so lovely and lively. She came into the program just a few months after I did and has absolutely blossomed. Her joy in life is infectious.
