Falling in love with being sober.
Just thought I'd share this. yesterday was day 32 sober for me. It was wonderful. The first day since I have stopped drinking that I felt ok inside. Everything, for no real reason, was a joy. I was noticing the beautiful details in my life again. I spent the day mostly looking after my baby boy Max, who I am everyday falling more and more deeply in love with. I know not every day will be like this and I will have tough days, but my word being sober is so much better. I will never drink again ! If anyone reading this is struggling in very early recovery, it's happening for me and it will happen for you too. Steve.
