Welcome back Tnt44. I waited 6 months to take it seriously again. I was waiting until I got "into the zone" to try again. Of course I kept putting it off. I just started reading more and more on here. The more I read, the more I was interested in people's progress. It was only yesterday that I FINALLY joined a class. It's excellent that you posted here and the people here will make you feel better. Let's start our new lives!
Sunflower - my husband too doesn't really understand. Just don't drink so much!!! He is definitely happy when I am sober, but he doesn't understand the hold alcohol has on me. And certainly has NO idea how much I drink in private. Although, he has more than seen the consequences. I haven't spoken to him yet about my plan. He comes up with different plans like no alcohol in the house, or only drink til 9pm etc. I just want a few days behind me so I can get my mind around it all. He will be supportive but he won't understand that alcohol is off the table for good!
I'm jumping the gun a bit it's only day 2!! For today I will not drink!
Gotta go to work.
