Itchy, dogs are so intelligent, aren't they! Maggie will be waiting for Skylar for a while yet. She can feel your sorrow, too, as you know, and only time will heal you all, somewhat.
I am learning to just watch my dog (Rachel). She is teaching me how to spend my time. She takes a nap, goes outside, comes back in, plays, takes another nap, checks things out, patrols the yard, barks at who knows what, takes another nap, repeats, etc. and she is happy if her tail is honest.
I'm learning to let go and read the unfolding universe that comes to me, without me trying, or struggling, or striving. It all comes and unfolds right before me and that unfolding is the Higher Power's plan. Everything is just the way it is suppose to be. The challenge is for me to accept it.
