When I re-read your initial post just now, I felt silly for asking your gender, although I guess you might have been female. I am female but I go by Eddie, so I try not to assume. I know a man in the Boston area. I'll try to rustle him up. In the meantime, you can still go ahead and go to some meetings, by yourself if need be.
