UK people advice and help please...
Hi, I have a frI end who was admitted unconscious to hospital before Xmas, alcoholic chirrosis. .. after a week in a coma he pulled through, and is now recovering... he can NEVER drink again. He was a free spirited musician who drank a lot all the time....
My question is this... how does he get help after he is discharged? He hospital has done the medical bit, but they are going to discharge him, homeless and alone.
Is there such thing as free rehab in the UK???
He will surely die soon if there is no follow up, no help..... nothing...
Any advice please so I can pass it on!
