That's right. You can only be sober today. One day at a time. Keep doing that, and you'll have prolonged sobriety. Sort of takes care of itself.
Myself, I accepted that I could never drink again. Ever. Once I accepted never drinking again, any doubts I had regarding the longevity of my recovery went away.
