wow are you ever right on the how especially pervasive alcohol is this time of year Briar. A couple of days ago I regret to admit that I literally salivated at something I saw on tv....but came here to SR and 'poof' all good.
I was intrigued by all the Melbourne weather talk and so I had to look into it a bit. For summer they seem to really experience more extreme swings in temp than here. We generally only experience such swings in spring and fall. You can count on week after week of 90s and high humidity here during summer no doubt. My interest in that general region is especially keen because south island NZ is on my short list of potential hiking destinations. Yay!!!!
Proper workout in the books and set to enjoy mid sunny 50s with calm wind today.....perfect 'winter' weather for here. If needed you shall find me in the back yard taking in some sun.
