Do you think that the way that you think about your birthday is a self fulfilling prophecy? If you are sure you are going to feel awful on your birthday and for the year ahead it is likely that you will. I don't know the solution but maybe do your utmost this year to have some good thoughts and see where that takes you? I do realise that thinking is not easy nor is it the answer to every problem but it might might might just make you feel a little bit better
