I don't participate in the forced thanks-giving/family gatherings. Wish every one in my family of origin could understand how another 24 hours every day is what I am thankful for.
But I don't blame them.
I forgive them. Right now. Today. In this moment, I forgive, them, and me.
Holidays are my hours away from the compulsive, self-centeredness, bah-humbug...
