Yes sober life is always better than drinking life! If I was still drinking there's no way this would have happened. I doubt I would have kept my job, if by some miracle I had I would have been drinking all the money I'm spending on the homeowner stuff. And I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have a wife to live with either.
Even the bad times are less bad sober. Drinking makes everything worse.
