I woke last morning
talking about peace and then
I went back to sleep
I woke the next day
crying about hell and then
I wrote this poem
Today we saw a
garter snake on the path and
it didn't move much
Then it flicked its tongue
and my heart filled with joy 'cause
it was still alive
