When sober and living life on the terms that come through
We're making our way along a path that is quite new
Handling life with the good and the not so much too.
This thread has a way to lift us up gladly
When we may have stopped by with our thoughts tending sadly
We know we're a part of a group that's at times joyful
Just the fact we're alive is, in itself, truly a gift to behold.
