How to communicate?
What are some encouraging things to say to someone in early recovery?
I just wanted to start a forum for some helpful (and healthy) responses.
The circumstances surrounding my question are:
1. Addict is newly sober (2+)
2. Addict is working a program
I found a thread with some helpful tips on what to say to diffuse arguments, amongst other things. I thought this may be helpful for those of us who can be at a loss for words.
