Two interesting observations:

#1. I wasn't even tempted! I don't drink. Period. Having that mindset helps tremendously and after 14 months it's my new normal. I can tell you with no uncertainty that I actually love it!

#2. No one (& I mean no one) got drunk, passed out, slurred their words, made an idiot of themselves, hooked up, cried or threw up. It was the craziest thing. People can actually drink normally - it's a head scratcher for sure. In this odd way it made me feel even better about sobriety.

That's good stuff Hearts. It's great you had fun and I'm liking your new normal. Coming up on a year I see the potential to feel that way myself which is astounding considering that a year ago this weekend I was likely already drinking. Again, nice post.
