Key- yea N Ga mtn ppl have a "dialect" for sure. My mother is from SC. They have that movie severe accent. I had some good service buddies from Ky. Good guys , we stay in touch actually. After 20 plus yrs there's less of us for sure. USMC vets don't have as long if a shelf life as others it seems. Some had a lot on their plate at times.
Troy I've been to Phuket, twice on 1 week passes each time. I miss that bay. Beautiful. If memory serves that area may be gone from a tsunami. Horrible if correct. S--t beat out of us by student fighters half our size, who eventually took pity on us. The rest of the week was spent at the massage / herb/ acupuncture local place. ( not the freaky places).
I'd have liked to find an actual monastery but we had no time to actually explore anything. Food was awesome
