Ruby, you're not alone in having to negotiate through those arguments. This morning before I took my kids to school they were getting ready at our house. I have moved my son into my bathroom so he and his little sister don't have to get ready together and fight in the morning.
Low and behold i heard arguing coming from my bathroom. My daughter had made her way in with my son and was brushing her hair and they were fighting about something! I asked why she moved into my bathroom and my 7 year old girl told me... "dad, everything's JUST fine. We DON'T need your help". So I just left and couldn't help but think maybe they just like to argue.
Oh well! I got them off in one piece and am happy I could deal with this morning unclouded by alcohol!
I do like the calendar idea though Ruby!
