Step 7:"
We humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings."
The main objective to Step7 is to get out of ourselves and strive to achive the will of our Higher Power.We have noticed that humility plays a big part in this program and our new way of life.We take our inventory,we become ready to let God remove our defects of character;we humbly ask Him to remove our shortcomings.This is our road to spiritual growth,and we will want to continue.
Sometimes its hard to be humble. I think we all have times where we are very proud.But if we truly want to be free,we will take a good look at input from fellow addicts and learn to be humble.We change everyday.We gradually and carefully pull ourselves out of the isolation and loneliness of addiction and into the mainstream of life.
