I'm celebrating my official engagement this week! We had the ring sized in June, but he finally proposed on the beach Saturday. It was absolutely beautiful. I got to sit down with jr last night and have a heart to heart,letting him know how much I loved him too. This is all so dream-like to me. And I'm positive that it all started last October with my decision to be brave enough to let go of things that were weighing me down. Family issues and work stuff continue to suck up a lot of my time, but it's ok. I'm happy to help because I can. A year ago, this may have taken me out. But not now. Life is good in my sober hood, friends!
Lotsa love and big hugs all around. I've missed checking in daily and look forward to some quiet time at home tonight so I can catch up.
