I really liked the book too Dee.

It resonated with me and it has actually led me onto looking into other things too.

In her memoir she said that in AA there were some who had eating addictions and I thought of my sister who has had bulimia for 30 plus years. There are similarities in my alcohol addiction and her food addiction which has now led me to think about our childhood which was also outwardly happy.

It has opened out a dialogue with my sister who is in counselling again. It seems we are thinking the same things as to where our low self esteem etc etc stems from and this is actually quite liberating to start piecing together some explanations at long last.

I had no idea when I first picked that book up that it would lead me off in this direction...
