No offence sober wolf...I know you try to encourage people as best you can, so I just wanted you to know I don't look at it quite that way, that's all. Because knowing you, in 4 weeks time, you would think you were doing the right thing and congratulate me on 5 months, but I just wanted to be clear I'm not a time counter in the commonly accepted way.

I only asked how long it has been for you because you seem to be in a good place and I could use the motivation
Yes, I know why you asked Ladybug, I think we both slipped around the same time last year too just before or around when you got pregnant, so I can see how this dance with alcohol right now must be frustrating the hell out of you.

Same with you, Snooz. I think what astounds me is that same drunk that was there 2 years ago steps right back up on the plate once I ingest alcohol. It's not the first drink, like your first "harmless" few at the Casino - it's the cycle it can potentially unlock back into full blown force which is the scary thing. Those post slip cravings....are EXACTLY as strong for me as they were the day I stopped cold turkey after full on alcoholism and binge drinking 2 years ago. Kindling is a very scary and unpredictable thing.
