Anger
I became extremely angry today. Some evil person deeply hurt someone I love. First time I have been this angry and sober at the same time. Whew! Asked God to get me through. Tried to keep my thoughts on the high road. Did not act out. Talked to my sponsor. The only thought of alcohol I had was "I would have drank about this 45 days ago. But not today!!!" Never realized how painful anger is until today (probably because I was always drunk in the past.) Wasn't able to fix anything for my loved one. But, I got really PO'd and I didn't drink.
