Thanks Cathryn - yes a do over - grateful for these small moments that validate our sobriety and getting another chance. So many times we don't get that chance.
He cut two fingers on a commercial table router / wood working piece of equipment. Painful - throbbing at night. But, should heal well.
I get the opportunity to clean and change bandages twice daily with him. I've shared some times I was stiched up over the years he had never heard.
These small windows of time which I use to rush through to get on to something "important" are so cherished, now.
