Sobriety is something that you need to decide you want. It's not something that your father can wish for you. I'm glad you've decided to do this for yourself.
I would caution you not to tie your recovery to your husband because honestly recovery is very personal and very hard and I know for me, I wouldn't have had the strength to support someone else in the early days.
